[TV] 577962. A second find from Beachy Head of 3,173 coins of the period from Caracalla to Postumus is listed and discussed. The terminal date appears to be AD 266. The hoard was contained in a knobbed jar with wavy-line decoration for which no exact parallel is known, although it is likely to have come from either Farnham or New Forest kilns.
