Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Excavations have revealed the remains of three buildings in the front garden of the vicarage (a Victorian building of c.1870 associated with the construction of the adjacent St Peter's Church) and the remains of two earlier structures, both possibly of an ecclesiastic nature. No datable evidence was discovered in association with the two earlier buildings, however it seems certain that they were both in ruins by the end of the eighteenth century, if not before. | |
