Abstract:
Reports on the progress of the excavation of a substantial Roman building. The building originally had a hypocaust, limestone roof-tiles, clay ridge tiles, window glass, tufa voussoirs from vaulted ceilings, and mosaic floors (indicated by the numerous tesserae found). Dated deposits were of the late-third and fourth centuries AD, but none were associated with the construction levels. See also 2002/918.
