Describes the discovery and excavation of a burnt mound and stone-lined pit with associated Beaker pottery at St Just, Cornwall, and the coincident radiocarbon dating of a Beaker burial from Try, Cornwall (the first time a Cornish Beaker burial had been so dated). A review of Cornish Beakers is presented in light of this new evidence, in particular noting that the introduction of Beaker type pottery to Cornwall probably took place about a century earlier than had been previously accepted.
