Abstract:
Presents results of the IFA's broad-ranging survey of the archaeological profession. The main aims were to discover attitudes to the IFA, the issues which archaeologists expect IFA to tackle, and to collect data on the general organisation of the profession. One of the major findings was that there is a trend towards organisation into small field units carrying out numerous small-scale projects.
