Abstract:		 Reports on the discovery of a Neolithic wooden ard, preserved in the waterlogged ditch of a henge at Pict's Knowe, near Dumfries, Scotland. Other wooden objects, possibly structural or ritual in function, are also described. Although scheduled the site is under threat of desiccation and erosion by animals.
