Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
The interiors of three small hut circles were excavated. They appeared to be of similar construction, without an inner post ring but with evidence for extensive internal timber fittings. The small quantity of pottery recovered all belonged to the Trevisker series; there was no other means of dating. Much of the pottery came from a source in, possibly, the Exe valley: most of the artefacts did not originate on the Moor. Lithics suggested some previous use of the site from the earlier Neolithic onward. | ||||||
