Excavations carried out at Bonhay Road, Exeter, found evidence for timber and stone structures relating to the development of Bonhay Mills from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. The evidence suggests that the location of the seventeenth-century mill and the layout of the mill leat may have been subject to significant alteration in the late seventeenth century.
