Abstract:
Excavations revealed a series of timber buildings in the intervallum on the NW side. The earliest structures were associated with ironworking; they were superseded by two successive ovens and finally by a row of small timber buildings. Following the abandonment of the fortress the via sagularis was incorporated into the civil street system, but soon went out of use. Evidence for the foundation date of the fortress is reviewed.
