Recounts the history and describes the ruins of a thirteenth-century chapel of ease which lies 6.5km from the parish church of St Oswalds, Chester. The chapel, which was used for burials, stands on a mound of uncertain date or function. The preliminary results of a recent resistivity survey are also reported.
