SP 907326. Limited re-excavation of the unpublished site revealed two twin-flue rectangular kilns, the upper one fairly intact. Finds from this and the 1930 excavations are published, together with records of Brickhill tiles known elsewhere. Designs were mainly influenced by Chilterns factories, with some contributions from the Wessex industry. The kilns are assigned to 15th century and a gazetteer of churches containing their products is appended. | ||||||||
