Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Ageing of skeletons is based on a good correlation between biological features such as cranial sutures and age at death. However it is impossible to estimate the structure of deaths of a skeletal population if the correlation coefficient (r or multiple-R) between biological characterics and age is lower than 0.9. None of the published age indications reach this required level. The authors are now abandoning this type of work after several years. |
