Occupied from the early 13th to the mid 14th century (dendrodates) with one period of desertion, the moated site contained a two-phase stone building over post-holes of an earlier structure. Finds included leather footwear, lathe-turned wood and plant remains. The late 13th century bridge was of Rigold's type II. F B |
