Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
The prevalence, distribution, and site of attack of dental caries observed in the burials from the Carmelite Friary, Aberdeen, broadly agreed with previous reports for medieval Scots, namely that caries was principally a disease of adult life and was distributed differently from modern caries. The findings reinforce evidence that caries prevalence in Scotland was lower than in England at that period. Au(adp).
