Abstract:		 In the Neo-BA Settlement Project small excavations were performed at The Trundle causewayed site, Bevis's Thumb long barrow, Stoughton oval barrows I and II, and five round barrows at West Heath, Harting. At Oving excavation of a series of soil marks revealed a late Iron Age-RB settlement, while at Lancing Down attention was directed to an ?Iron Age shrine beside the temple (see 82/9021 ). In Winchelsea four medieval tenements were examined. Work was also done at Bullock Down and Belle Tout.
