A complex trail derived from many types of source leads from Sennen Cove (Land's End), where tradition records the Lord of Goonhilly's chapel, to the opposite end of the sea crossing on Great Ganilly (Scillies). Here, the Nornour site (latterly a Romano-Celtic shrine) and some other Roman evidence combine to suggest a harbour lost when the Scillies became an archipelago (see 81/7735). |
