Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	SX 574930. The site was excavated in advance of quarrying and found to consist of seven buildings and related enclosures. A timber-built complex of ?early 12th century was replaced by a stone longhouse to which others were added, with ancillary buildings in the course of later 12th and 13th centuries. Stake-holes suggested internal furnishings; and a trackway and lynchet were also investigated. Documents suggested clearance for parkland c AD 1300. A little pottery and some small finds are catalogued; bone was poorly preserved. Au(adp)
