S0843948; SK082153. Meadow Cottage, Seisdon has a two-bay hall with a third upper bay and first floor solar. The service bay is divided by a partition with the first floor beam supported on a splayed-out seating in the wall-post. Hood Lane Farm, Armitage has an upper bay divided by an (?inserted) partition, and a hall-bay including a screens-passage behind an unusual spere-truss. Evidence of partition and function is inconclusive and subject to a variety of interpretations. EW |
