Abstract:		 The results of over thirty separate excavations and watching briefs along the line of the Antonine Wall are presented. The alignment and character of the frontier works and fort defences were clarified in several places. New information was obtained regarding a possible enclosure on the north side of the Wall near Auchendavy. Material includes: Mary Street, Laurieston, Falkirk (NS 9099 7951); Tamfourhill temporary camp, Tamfourhill, Falkirk (NS 8595 7955 & NS 8583 7959); Auchendavy, East Dunbartonshire (NS 674 750) (inc. The pottery, Non-ferrous metalworking debris); St Flannan's Church, Hillhead, Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire (NS 663 742); The Manse, Hillhead Road, Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire (NS 661 743); Cleddans Road, Hardgate, West Dunbartonshire (NS 5046 7225); Gavinburn Bus Depot, Old Kilpatrick, West Dunbartonshire (NS 460 731).
