Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Excavations in 1998 and 1999 uncovered much of the eastern third of the church, providing evidence of architectural features and layout. Comparison with Norman and Cluniac ecclesiastical buildings in England and France shows similarities, in particular in the architectural tradition of apsidal chapels or absidoles, suggesting a strong Cluniac influence. | |||||||||
