The chapel was examined during refurbishment and restoration to its 17th century form. Several panels of med tiling were found, one from the floor recorded in second quarter of 13th century, earlier than the date usually assigned to 'Westminster' type tiles, of which twenty different designs are illustrated. | ||||||
