The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A single trench yielded late and early post-medieval finds, including a good range of sixteenth-century pottery, supplemented by environmental evidence. Contemporary features included two large pits, probably resulting from gravel extraction, and two sections of mortared flint wall. Pottery sherds of the twelfth to fourteenth century were recovered as residual in a possible cultivated soil horizon, as were one sherd of Roman pottery and pieces of burnt and struck flint.
