Abstract
Abstract
The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:
Discusses Late Iron Age, Roman and medieval features at the site. Iron Age activity was evinced by at least three round houses to the east and south of a large square enclosure. Romano-British settlement features, including enclosures, gravel quarries, working surfaces, pits, post-holes, timber-lined wells and middens are located either side of a ditched trackway. During the twelfth- and thirteenth-centuries continuous lengths of ditch were dug, forming a network of differing-sized fields/enclosures, as well as water-holes, wells and a few pits. See also 2002/810.
