Abstract:		 The article describes the excavation at Westcroft House, Carshalton in 1997 of a group of cut features of apparently ritual function, containing deposits of artefacts and faunal material dating to the Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age. Deposited material included flint nodules, flakes and blades; quernstones; horse and deer skulls; and an unidentified fragment of copper alloy. The fill contained fragments of pottery of the same period.
