The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Excavation revealed part of a Romano-British settlement site which was probably occupied in the late-first century AD and was abandoned by the late-second century AD. Three ditches were located, which are likely to have formed parts of rectangular enclosures or field boundaries. A steep-sided pit could have possibly been used for storing water. These features were backfilled with domestic and industrial refuse and building debris probably between 120--200 AD. Various Romano-British finds were recovered including pottery, five quernstones, a fragment of clear vessel glass, and a number of corroded iron objects including an iron spearhead.
