Account of the discovery and excavation in the grounds of Carew Manor, Beddington, of a fragment of an ornamental garden structure and part of a culvert for draining water from the River Wandle. The remains were part of the Renaissance-style garden laid out by Sir Francis Carew in the second half of the sixteenth century.
