Abstract:
Report on the first RB building located on Mercia Mudstone deposits to be recognised and excavated in south east Derbyshire. The site and its environs are thought to have had an attraction for farming communities from IA--RB. The building itself is second century AD in origin and was dismantled in the third century AD. There was continued activity in the area during the Post-Roman period. Specialist reports are as follows:
