Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Recent aerial photography revealed the crop marks of a previously unknown possible Neolithic Causewayed Camp, investigated in 2021 by Staploe Archaeology Group. This and other sites identified by the group, the Fenland Survey, and the Cambridgeshire Heritage Environment Record (CHER) for the upper Snail valley, reveal an area rich in prehistoric sites. Fieldwalking and limited excavation during the course of the laying of a pipeline in 1993-4 revealed some detailed information (Gdaniec et al. 2007) but did not include any recognition of the possible causewayed camp, and other features close to Fordham Moor Far | |||
