The Morley St Peter hoard of 883 late Saxon pennies was found in 1958; it included 663 East Anglian portrait coins of Edward the Elder, and was deposited c 925 in a Thetford ware pot (not figured). The second part of the volume gives details of 825 coins in Norfolk and Suffolk museums, ranging from Anglo-Saxon to William III. |
