Abstract: |
Whether he realizes it or not, the archaeologist is using mathematical concepts whenever he plots a distribution map or tries to determine the date of a pit-group. This book aims to help the reader gain access to mathematical processes such as classification, clustering, dating, source-tracing, functional and spatial analysis, etc. For review see Times Lit Suppl, 13 February 1981. |
