ST 081713. Report of the first total excavation by modern methods of a romanized farm in S Wales. In spite of severe plough damage a minimum of six main phases was detected from AD 30/55 to c 340, beginning with three round timber houses in a sub-rectangular embanked enclosure. Rectilinear structures were added in early 2nd century and rather more sophisticated buildings in mid 2nd. Quantities of small finds (including a few of Iron Age date) and economic information.
