Abstract: |
The pack consists of materials for running a computer simulation of a project concerning three alternative routes for a gas pipeline to run across E Yorks to join the National Grid: pupils have to choose between the routes in order to recover the maximum amount of archaeological information within the budget provided. The pack includes teacher's notes, an outline prehistory of the region, worksheets and resource cards, and computer datafiles giving information on the archaeological sites involved, together with the software guide and the 'planning proposals' for the pipeline routes. The software is for BBC and Nimbus machines. |
