Abstract: |
The study's aim was to establish the environmental work already done in Wales and assess future needs. It concentrates on the Holocene, but the Palaeo and Pleistocene background is discussed, as is the physical setting. Each period is considered in detail, with recommendations for future work. General recommendations stress the need for improved project designs aimed at more integrated, landscape-scale, and problem-oriented studies. J G Evans (113-20) contributes a survey of the molluscan evidence, and there is a 56-page bibliography. |
