Abstract: |
The watching brief noted that much of the site under investigation had suffered from severe 19th century intrusion that had served to remove archaeological features and deposits. Cut features that had survived such intrusion comprised the basal parts of four medieval pits, a post-medieval well and parts of early boundary walls. This appeared to be a rare survival of medieval features beneath later development in Leeds. [Au(abr)] |
