Abstract: |
Two evaluation trenches were excavated and proved that the site had been severely truncated down to the natural geology, presumably during the 19th century. A large depth of made ground was recorded from both trenches, containing 19th century red brick and tile. If there had been any archaeological deposits, they would have been removed during this period. The site had a low potential for yielding any archaeological deposits. [AIP] |
