Abstract:
The assessment revealed that the graveyard extension had had a relatively short period of use. It appeared to have only been partially cleared in the early 1960s in advance of redevelopment. 178 inhumations remained across the site, not including those of unmarked graves. Should the graveyard be redeveloped and cleared of the remaining inhumations, a valuable opportunity to analyse an assemblage of material from the period 1845 to 1960 would arise. [Au(abr)]
