Abstract: |
A rapid appraisal was undertaken at 1-3 Fosse Way, Syston. Although there were no SAMs or other recorded archaeological remains within the site, in view of the proximity of the site to the Fosse Way, and the range of other archaeological remains from different periods recorded in the vicinity, the area was considered to have archaeological potential. Previous disturbance was evident on the site. It was decided that if a proposed development were to be put forward more archaeological investigation would be warranted. [Au(adp)] |
