Abstract: |
Two evaluation trenches were dug on the site prior to construction of new housing. Overall the site produced a prehistoric pit and several postholes believed to be of prehistoric date, sixteen prehistoric potsherds, four struck flints and twenty-five pieces of burnt flint. One residual fragment of Roman tile was also recovered. No further archaeological work is anticipated. [Au(abr)] |
