Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained in the grounds of The Holme, Regent's Park, during the excavation by landscape gardening staff, of exploratory trenches in the Rock Garden. These trenches were excavated to determine the extent to which the structure of an early 19th century Rock Garden (part of the Grade I Listed garden of The Holme) had survived extensive landscaping carried out in 1986. The report concluded that the underlying structure of the original garden was largely intact. [Au(abr)] |
