Abstract:		 An evaluation was carried out and a Christian cemetery was located of unknown date in the south-west corner of the site. Some evidence pointed to the use of the site as pasture or flood meadows. Fragments of later Roman pottery and ceramic building material were recovered and no evidence for the extension of the medieval village of Rothley was found. [Au(adp)]
