Abstract: |
The report presented the results of an archaeological excavation conducted as part of the Time Detectives project, run as a study support activity for school children. The excavation comprised a single trench c.10m by 21m in size. The project was funded by the New Opportunities Fund. The excavation revealed part of the remains of Coxhoe Hall, mostly comprising wall footings, cellars and associated structural evidence. A significant assemblage of building materials and artefacts associated with the hall was also recovered. [Au(abr)] |
