Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological trial trench evaluation was undertaken in advance of the proposed residential development of the site. No archaeological features were revealed within the evaluation trenches. Demolition/levelling layers of recent date were recorded on the site. No evidence of early activity was recorded within this part of the site, though there had clearly been some truncation of the original ground surface (there was, for instance, no remaining mature subsoil present).
