Abstract: |
A one day watching brief was undertaken on a site thought to have lain in close proximity to the former site of Kilburn Priory. Two trenches were examined and recorded. Finds consisted of abraded pottery sherds dating from Roman to post-medieval times and some clay pipe stems. The earliest feature present was a 19th century land drain; no features associated with the priory were noted. [Au(abr)] |
