Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of office buildings, located within an Archaeological Priority Area corresponding to the historic core of Kilburn. Roman Watling Street ran along the line of Kilburn High Road, but little archaeological evidence had been recovered from the area. Two trenches were excavated during the evaluation, but no significant features were found. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
