Abstract: |
Earlier archaeological works had identified significant potential for in situ Mesolithic material. However, 29 trenches and 132 test pits revealed 23 linear features, and a brick-lined soakaway, all of modern origins. No archaeological finds or features were discovered, and it was concluded that the lithic scatter identified by the earlier excavation had been subject to recent disturbance. [Au(abr)] |
