Abstract:
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site, where a previous geophysical survey had identified areas of potential archaeological interest. Four sub-circular modern features, a modern land drain, two undated ditches and two possible pits were recorded. Several struck flints and two fragments of tile were recovered. It was concluded that the ditches may have represented early field boundaries. [AIP]
