Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out as footings were excavated around the piles at the south-western corner of the site, where 18th and 19th century pits were recorded in the evaluation. Shallow natural sandy gravel was observed, truncated by 19th and 20th century made ground, and demolition rubble. No 18th century features were discovered. [Au(abr)]
