Abstract: |
Archaeological observations were made during the construction of an extension. The site lay within an area of suspected medieval occupation. The majority of the area affected by groundworks had previously been terraced into natural strata, and no surviving archaeological deposits or pre-modern finds were encountered. A deep well was recorded in a position where it was directly affected by the groundworks. [AIP] |
