Abstract: |
An excavation was carried out prior to the development of the site. The excavation revealed part of the second century vicus of Rocester. Features identified included ditches, pits, post holes and grain drying kilns. Industrial activity was identified in the form of burnt clay, slag deposits and worked stone. [Au(abr)] |
