Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed a stratigraphic sequence comprising medieval and post-medieval soil horizons sealed beneath a later sequence of deposits across the site. Four phases of pitting were identified, the first of which was an undated pit sealed by a medieval soil horizon. The remaining were post-medieval in date. A Victorian boundary ditch and a manhole were also present. [Au(abr)] |
